| Description |
Data involved in engineering design simulations need to be managed properly. We aim at providing an engineer centric web portal where he/she can manage the execution of analysis tools and manage the resulting data. The goal of is to prototype a simulation data management interface to collaborate between engineers, share simulation results, share design solutions and manage the engineering workflow.
The primary aim is to support simulation data management, the secondary aim is to enable engineers to collaborate better in the future using (social) web technologies like incorporation of chat, diagrammatic representation of the flow of processes, sticky notes, ‘wiki’ style editing of documents or meta data and further more. Affiliation with web programming, database design, social web technologies (2.0), understanding the aim of Google ‘Wave’ and gaming are a pre.
